T3 Perfect Blowout: How To Get Salon Perfect Hair at Home

We all look great when we walk out of a salon, but what's the secret to getting the same look at home? 

Check out this great video which explains the key techniques for the perfect blowout. It starts with how, and why, to properly section your hair, all the way through on how to properly style your hair using a hair dryer.

Key tips pointed out in this video:

• You must get your hair relatively dry before you start styling your hair with the hair dryer. 
• When drying the hair, use a vent brush so the air can blow through the brush
• Put the dryer on the highest heat and speed setting which is appropriate for your hair.  The thicker your hair, the higher the speed and heat setting should be.
• When hair is about 80% dry, it’s time to start styling.
• To style, separate hair into four sections; two sections on top and two sections on bottom.
• Using a barrel brush, start at the roots and pull the brush through your hair.  You will want a little tension in the hair to help straighten.
• Point the dryer down where the air flows over the brush, not into the brush.
• Finish with a cool shot to help set the hair.

Bonus:  you now have deliciously shiny hair!  All I can say is Fabulous!
